Advani London Bombay is designed to be worn anywhere and from day to evening. Typically however, clients wear us for smart occasions or evenings out. This could be a wedding, a birthday, or a nice dinner.

The fit of our jackets range from slim to standard. However, they are designed for all body types and do not require you to be skinny! If you are broad on the shoulders or chest take a size up. The best way to check your size is via our size chart, which helps you compare our jacket to one you already own and like.

Our pieces come either ready to wear as seen in the pictures, or can be customised in their fit or fabric choice. The ready to wear options are the most popular pieces in our collection and can be purchased through our website. We currently offer both options. Ready to wear pieces are already sized and you can purchase one directly off the website in your size. The custom options allow you to create a piece with a different fit or fabric. This can be done via our virtual appointment service. Book an appointment here.

We currently offer a six week making time frame for new orders, but please refer to the timeline specified on each product page.

Making to order has a number of advantages. It allows easy customisation so you can have more fabric and fit options. It allows a business like ours to grow sustainably without compromising on our quality. And most importantly, since it discourages the cycle of overproduction, markdowns and wasted products, it is much more sustainable.

Each Advani London Bombay piece is an heirloom and is designed to be passed down to future generations. We use the most sustainable fabrics we can find on the market, such as Loro Piana and Vitale Barberis wool. We make to order to limit overproduction. We do not introduce new product for the sake of it, to minimise overall waste.

We are known best for our fit which is particularly exceptional. We have customers from over 20 countries and a wide range of body types, from very petite to big and tall. Our pieces are designed to fit each of those and accentuate their strengths. Purchasing online means trying it in the comfort of your own home. Each of our products contains special allowances for easy alterations that can be completed with a local tailor. Contact us for a recommended local tailor in your area. If you do not wish to make them or feel it would be challenging to alter the piece to your needs, returns on ready to wear products are free. We do not accept returns on customised products.

If you are based outside of the UK, the prices you will see on our website are net of 20% VAT that would be otherwise be payable on a UK purchase. You may however be required to pay customs duties in your country upon delivery. These will be payable by yourself and customs in your country will get in touch regarding any amount owed.

Our pieces generally are a slim fit however, they can be worn by a wide variety of body types. If purchasing jackets, do note that they run slim so if you are built on the shoulders and chest, it may be better to take a size up to your standard size. The best way to work out sizing is to measure a similar product (blazer, shirt, trouser) flat, using our size chart and compare measurements.
